There is something called as draw phase in this game where there is an option of hand improvement.
This comes under lowball game card Poker. Most online players are unaware of this game. The famous games in this are 2-7 Triple Draw, A-5 Triple Draw. The games are based on 5 card format. Here the objective here is to obtain a least hand. In 2-7 Triple Draw the winning hand would contain 2-3-4-5-7.
In A-5 triple draw the best combination is A-2-3-4-5 which is also termed as Wheel. The minimum in this version are the Aces.
This is basically a Chinese version of Draw Poker. This game is also termed as Badougi, Padooki or Paduki. The objective of the game is to get a least hand possible. The winning hand has 4-3-2-A. Straights and Flushes are not prevalent in Badugi.
Q Ball Draw Poker:
Michael Wiesenberg has designed this game. This game consists of three blinds initially. There is one joker contained in the Poker deck. You receive 3 cards. Following this there is a Poker betting round. In the first round of betting there is no checking. In the next round there is a fourth card for the player. This round also checking is not permitted. Checking is allowed during the third betting round where the player gets a fifth card. Here the advisable betting structure is 1-2-2-4.
Double Draw Poker:
The game laws are pretty similar to that of 5 Card Draw. Double Draw Poker permits two betting rounds and two draws (aptly named as Double Draw) whereas 5 card draw allows only single draw. Since an extra draw is permitted you get some hands different from Texas Hold’em Poker and Omaha Poker.
Double Draw devalues hands.
The game offers you 5 blind cards at first. This is followed by a round of betting. Then there is the first draw followed by second betting round. Then comes the second draw followed by third betting round. This is followed by showdown.
